I'm looking at Acer Swift 3 and Acer Aspire 5 to choose from. Both are priced similarly at 590$. I need the laptop mostly for programming and also I'd need to run virtual machines (that's why the 4C/8T CPUs). Other than that I'd use it for light gaming, productivity and multimedia. Good battery life would be what I'm looking for next.
